TwoWhite Feet, Inc was founded in June 2004 by two Colorado horsewomen, Veronica Holt and Heather Petersen.
Well known for their work in all aspects of regional and national dressage competition, they are the principals in this equestrian management company. The corporate structure will reflect a fluid team approach, tailoring our expertise to the needs of our clients.
Veronica Holt has moved on to several other ventures at the end of 2008. Simone Windeler, Anne Sushko and several others work with Heather now on a per contract basis.
Estes Park Dressage and the VS Outbreak
Dear friends and competitors,
We wanted to take just a few minutes of your time and address the Vesicular Stomatitis (VS) outbreak that is currently affecting our state. Our hearts go out to those who are affected, and our thoughts are about how the spread of this disease can be controlled.
Last weekend, as many of you know, were the Autumn Hill July Dressage Festivals III and IV. Prior to these shows, we were in daily communication with the State Vet's office, and with their help, developed a sound, protocol and procedure for ensuring the safety of animals traveling to and competing at the show. We feel that the efforts made by the exhibitors and the facility made the show a success.
A conversation with the State Vet yesterday, revealed that there are now 23 cases confirmed in the state, an overwhelming majority of these horses are older and do not travel. The State Vet also confirmed that he felt there was no problem with us holding the Estes Park Dressage Shows and CDI, and that our policy and procedures were still the best course of action to keep all competitors safe at the Estes shows. Also to be noted, there are far fewer flies at that altitude. We've always felt the Estes Park is one of the most beautiful venues to show Dressage, and right now, it's one of the safest. If flies travel in your trailer with you to the grounds, the State Vet office said that the altitude is different enough they will not acclimate and do not survive.
This year, we are pleased to offer many wonderful awards and prizes to exhibitors; random drawings for gift certificates to local restaurants, fabulous 1st place glasses donated by Sage Creek, and high point awards donated by vendors exhibiting at the show. In addition, we have wonderful sponsorship from groups like the Rocky Mountain Dressage Society, the Town of Estes, and individuals like Ms. Eva Maria Adolphi. And don't forget the exhibitor parties, and movies under the stars...
Entries are open until August 4th and we hope you'll consider joining us... It will be a wonderful weekend.
Your 2 White Feet staff - Heather, Simone and Jon
Paragon Dressage CDI*** In The Books
Thank you to everyone for a wonderful show at the Paragon Dressage CDI***! We had great weather for two days and then lost our luck on Sunday. The great support of the competitors should guarantee the growth of this show for next year. What an amazing group we had - we couldn't have done it without you!
Prize lists are now up for all of our shows through July and the Championships prize list is also posted. The August Estes Park Dressage show prize list will be up soon.
